Nutrition: In India, the Corona-lockdown paralysed agriculture from one day to the next – and not only cultivation, but also supply chains were interrupted. Since then, prices have risen and food in particular has become scarce and very expensive. Food prices in the area surrounding our village are now much higher than they used to be.

To prevent malnutrition, we provide our project children in the village with regular meals.

Nutrition, cultivation, production and cooking have become a major pillar of our project. We obtain most of our milk, fruit and vegetables from our own farm (organic). We consider this area to be essential in order to support the children’s health and concentration.

The enlargement and expansion of the living area is one of our construction sites at the moment. For example, it is about supplying the new pools with water preparation via the solar system, so that warm water is reliably available for daily hygiene, especially in winter.
We are also planning to expand rooms for staff. In addition to the expansion of the living area for the children, the cooperating caregivers, who live here and have to be constantly present, should also be well accommodated so that everyone can feel comfortable.

Yoga and Gatka: The children’s great motivation to learn inspired us to organise and promote traditional forms of exercise such as Yoga and stick art (Gatka) as additional learning opportunities.
